Does your tongue swell up after getting the snake eyes piercing?

I have my regular tongue pierced already. But im thinking about getting the snake eyes ( piercing going threw the tip of your tongue ) . But im not sure if im going to get it just yet. ANYONE That has it or knows someone who go them done know if your tongue swells up?

All piercings swell afterwards, it's a way that the body handles it. That's why you want a slightly larger post when you first get it done then you're gonna actually want once it's healed so the piercings doesn't get rejected.
