The popular Fuller's Brewery is actually the follow up to Fuller, Turner and Smith plc, which was founded in the year 1845 by three enterprising people- John Bird Fuller, Henry Smith and John Turner. The families' of the three partners still have their share of control over the company, and it is co-run by the descendants of the founders. The traditional brewery is located in Chiswick, West London. The building has acquired historical and botanical significance for the cultivation of the wisteria plant, which is one of the oldest plants found in the country. The plant has been carbon dated back to the first half of the 19th century and is open for public visit at their Griffin brewery. The region forms the centre for Fuller's international beer market as well.

The London Pride, the premium cask ale manufactured by Fuller's is renowned amongst other ale brands. ESB,which is the short form for Extra Special Bitter, holds the title 'Best Strong Ale' after it won the award for 'strongest bitter ale' seven times. A cask conditioned beer named Chiswick, a 3.5 percent brew, is considered the Champion Beer of Britain.

A barley wine of 8.3 percent named Golden Pride, premium bitter IPA, Hock, Summer Ale, Old Winter Ale, the Christmas special Vintage Ale, Jack Frost,London Porter, Pale Ale and Red Fox are other brews manufactured by Fuller's. The sweet tasting golden ale is another famous brew with hops, malt and honey as ingredients. It is available without restriction throughout the year.The seasonal cask orbottle-conditioned beers such as 1845 are available in tied houses. This brew was released to mark Fuller's 150th year of brewing in 1995 and it has high ale strength. The Discovery, a 50clpasteurized bottle containing blond ale was released in 2005 and is the most recent brew. George Gale and Co. Brewery was purchased by Fuller's during the same year.

Fuller's ales are usually packaged and conditioned in casks, bottles or kegs. Hitherto, Fuller's have 363 pubs, bars and hotels under their name and reign as one of the best breweries of all time.
