What is the difference between Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering?
Can an Electrical Engineer specialize in electronics? I am looking to become an Electronics Engineer but some colleges only offer a major in electrical engineering. Could i major in that and still be an Electronics Engineer? Thank you

there is HUGE difference….
If U r an electronics engineer u need to handle nano devices lik chip, ICs( Integrated circuts), Signals and transmission
but as electrical engineer u deals with big devices lik Transformers , …..etc
No if u opt EE (Electr engg) u can never mesh wid EC (Elect engg)
Electrical engineers generally deal with large-power applications, such as utility and industrial power systems, whereas electronics engineers deal with low-power systems such as computers and communications and smaller electronic components. There is much overlap but I would be careful going to school for Electrical Engineering while wanting to be called an Electronics Engineer.
