Microsoft discontinue Xbox Live for Xbox games April 15th

Microsoft has announced that on April 15th it is closing down Xbox Live for original Xbox games. That includes any bought through the Xbox Live service on your 360 (Xbox Originals).
Mark Whitton, general manager of Xbox Live, explained that:
