you know, i don’t this should be legal. No, honestly, there are ALOT of people who don’t have an internet connection at home, some due to location but many just due to pricing. Alot of college students just can’t afford an appartment and pay for cable and internet so instead use the net at school (and maybe thier phone while mobile). Should they be discriminated against in this way? and yes it IS discrimination!!! Look at it this way, they have a game system when they were liviing at home, graduate highschool, go to college and now they can’t play half or more of thier games aymore. no way is that fair.

I mean could an original XBox game be played on the 360 and still be playable online, that would be pretty good I think. It could use the new service, but still with the older games that a few people still love.

No. Microsoft is turning it off for those games too. Something to do with the way Live was implemented for those original games just doesn’t work anymore. So even if you buy the Xbox game digitally on your 360 its Live features will no longer be available come April.

What?! You should be fully aware that you’re buying the console for what are primarily online functions. That’s the point of these next-gen consoles. You can only play single-player campaign mode for so long, bro.

And even then, how do you plan on connecting to the Internet if you can’t pay the bill? Google’s TiSP?
